MEA Council Distributes Over 900 Native Trees

Species available included oak, birch, hazel, willow and crab apple. The trees were provided through The Woodland Trust NI who provided funding for the initiative through the Emergency Tree Fund.

National Tree Week is the United Kingdom's most significant yearly tribute to trees, signifying the beginning of the winter tree planting season. This period extends from November to March annually, aligning with the dormant phase of trees.
