Contractors have been appointed to resurface the A26 Moira Road in Crumlin.
Works are set to commence on 8 January and are expected to be completed by 23 February.
The resurfacing scheme will begin about 100 metres south of the Gobrana Road junction and will extend for approximately 1.6 kilometres to 150 metres north of the Poplar Road junction.
In order to facilitate the works a lane closure will be in place between the hours of 9.30 am and 4.30 pm, from 8 January until 23 February 2024.
Additionally, a road closure will be required to facilitate the laying of the surface course, between the hours of 5.00 am on Saturday 10 February 2024 and 10 pm on Sunday 11 February 2024.
Whilst the road is closed, a signed diversionary route will be in place via B101 Dundrod Road, A501 Sheepwalk Road, A30 Lisburn Road and vice versa.
