The Construction Employers Federation (CEF) has announced that its holding an in-person Breakfast, Networking, Discussion and Workshop on digitalisation in construction.
CEF is aware that as technology continues to develop at an ever-increasing rate, adoption in the Construction industry remains a challenge.
The workshop will explore the core information systems that must be in place to ensure that full advantage can be taken from the latest advancements.
Drones, Robotics and Automation, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Connected Construction Site, advanced BIM, 3D Printing and Zero Net Energy Buildings will all deliver enormous benefit to the construction industry.
CEF has said that Contract Costing, Business Analytics, Project Collaboration and Supply Chain Management, delivering visibility, control and compliance are all essential to provide a platform for the implementation of cutting-edge automation.
The workshop is set to take place at CEF offices on 8 February from 8.30 am to 10.30 am.
