Uisce Éireann has fixed water supply issues at Smear Water Treatment Plant in County Longford.
The water treatment plant was impacted by a recent power outage caused by Storm Isha.
Although repairs have been completed some customers in North Longford may continue to experience outages and low pressure as reservoirs continue to replenish following the storm. Dedicated water services crews continue to work around the clock to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible to all impacted customers.
An alternative water supply is still available at three locations: St. Marys Church in Legga, the carpark at the Cross in Aughnacliffe Village, and St. Patrick's National School in Ballinamuck.
John Gavin, Water Operations Lead, said: "We thank impacted customers for their patience as reservoirs continue to replenish with full supply expected to return by tomorrow evening. When water supplies return, we appeal to customers to help conserve water by not running taps needlessly, taking showers instead of baths and to postpone using dishwashers and washing machines where possible. Further information on water conservation is available on our Conservation section."
