Farrans has made significant progress on Enoch Hill Wind Farm in Scotland.
The Northern Ireland based company has poured the first of 15 bases at the wind farm ahead of the arrival of the wind turbines. The pour included 63t of reinforcement and 405m3 of concrete.
Completing the works for its client RWE, Farrans is the main contractor on the site which is located in East Ayrshire near to the village of New Cumnock. When built, it will be capable of producing up to 70MW of electricity and power for 68,000 average UK households.
