Resurfacing Works To Begin On A3 Portadown Road

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has announced that the A3 Portadown Road in Armagh is moving into the next phase as resurfacing works are set to begin.

A full road closure will be implemented over a number of weekends to facilitate the safe delivery of the scheme. The first two planned closures are on:

• From 20:00 on Saturday 17 February to 06:00 on Monday 19 February 2024.

• From 20:00 on Saturday 24 February to 06:00 on Monday 26 February 2024.

Whilst works are ongoing a signed diversionary route will be in place via Richhill and Hamiltonsbawn and vice versa.

During the construction period, local access within the project area will be accommodated. Motorists should anticipate some delays and are encouraged to allocate extra time for their travel.
