Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has commenced works at the play parks in Kilmacormick and Lisgoole Park in Enniskillen.
The works include upgrading the existing equipment and providing new equipment to create inclusive play facilities in both play parks.
These works are part of the Council's ten-year Play Park Strategy, now ready to commence the fourth year of delivery, which aims to guide play park provision throughout the District.
Building and improving play areas shows the Council's commitment to giving kids the best start in life, promoting their health and well-being.
Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Thomas O'Reilly, said:
"I am delighted that works have commenced at the play parks in Kilmacormick and Lisgoole in Enniskillen.
"The improvement works will enhance the existing play parks for the benefit of residents.
"The continuing roll out of the Council’s Play Park Strategy is welcome and will help to encourage our young people to get outdoors and be active."
