Waterford Council Seeks Interest For Town & Village Renewal Scheme

Waterford City & County Council has sought expressions of interest from towns and villages for funding under the 2024 Town & Village Renewal Scheme.

The scheme which is funded by the Department of Rural & Community Development under Project Ireland 2040 is a key initiative of 'Our Rural Future', Ireland's Rural Development Policy 2021-2025.

The goals of the 2024 Town and Village Renewal Scheme are specifically designed to correspond with the objectives outlined in both Our Rural Future and the Town Centre First policy documents. This initiative aims to improve Waterford's rural towns and villages, prioritising their development to create more appealing environments for residents and businesses, thereby increasing their economic potential.

The deadline for completed expression of interest forms is 5.00pm on Friday 19 April 2024.
