The Department for Infrastructure is set to hold a Public Information Day on the draft Statutory Orders for the proposed A29 Cookstown Bypass scheme.
Last month, Minister for Infrastructure, John O'Dowd, highlighted his commitment to progressing this significant scheme when he signed off on the publication of the draft Statutory Orders and the Environmental Impact Assessment Report. He also announced that a public information event would be organised to keep the local community informed about progress with the scheme.
The Public Information Event is taking place on 16 April from 10.00am to 10.00pm at The Burnavon in Cookstown. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Departmental staff and the engineering consultants. They can provide detail on work to date and the next steps in progressing the scheme. The information and presentations will also be available to view online through a virtual room on the Department’s website from 16 April.
The consultation period closes on Wednesday 29 May 2024.
