CITBNI To Host Older Buildings Maintenance Course

CITBNI is set to hold a one day course which will give attendees an introduction into managing the maintenance of older buildings.

The course held by The Rock Stone Masonry will take place at the historic Glenarm Castle estate between 10am and 4pm on 11 April 2024.

It will begin with a short presentation on identifying and diagnosing defects, common defects to look out for and suitable remedies.

Following this, attendees will walk around the site and put their newfound knowledge into practice. The course will end with a presentation from a conservation architect.

This event is aimed at buildings owners and those responsible for maintenance. However, it may also be of interest to anyone beginning to work with historic buildings, or anyone who is interested in how historic sites are managed behind the scenes.
