Construction To Commence On New Play Facility In Co Kildare

Kildare County Council has announced that construction will commence on a new play facility in Newbridge.

Construction of the Natural Play Area in Liffey Linear Park, Newbridge, is set to begin on Wednesday 4 September 2024. Located in the green space next to the existing Fairy Trail, the new play area will feature a range of exciting play elements.

The park will remain open during the construction phase, however, there will be no through-access from the Watering Gates to The Strand between Wednesday 4 September and Monday 9 September to facilitate construction works.
