Emergency Road Surfacing Works To Commence

Cavan County Council has announced emergency road surfacing works are set to commence across a three-day period.

The L6542 Arvagh to Farrangarve from its junction with the R198 (Arvagh) to the junction with the R198 (Farrangarve) will undergo works on Friday 18th October, Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd from 8am to 6pm and therefore be closed to the public.

During this timeframe, traffic will be diverted via the R198 in Arvagh to the junction with the L6542 at Farrangarve. The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works and local access only will be accommodated.

All enquiries regarding the road closure should be directed to the Ballyjamesduff Municipal District Office by calling 049 854 7013.
