MMD Construction has taken a proactive approach to employee well-being by hosting a health and safety event at its head office.

In partnership with MedHub, the company offered comprehensive health checks and winter flu vaccines to all employees as part of the Construction Industry Federation's (CIF) Construction Safety Campaign.

The health checks included a range of assessments, such as blood pressure monitoring, BMI, cholesterol, thyroid, PSA, B12, and full blood screening. The goal was to raise awareness of key health metrics and encourage employees to adopt healthier lifestyles.

Given the alarming rates of heart disease and stroke in Ireland, MMD Construction recognises the importance of prioritising employee health. By fostering a safe and supportive work environment, the company aims to reduce the risk of health-related issues and promote overall well-being.
