Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough (ANB) Council has taken the lead in fostering collaboration within the public sector construction industry. Last week, the Council hosted a 'Laying the Foundations – Winning Construction Contracts' event at Mossley Mill, bringing together key public sector bodies to showcase significant contract opportunities.

The event highlighted over £200 million worth of upcoming projects from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Department for Health, the Education Authority, and the Council's own Capital programme. Representatives from each organisation provided insights into the pipeline of major contracts and outlined strategies for local contractors to secure these opportunities.

By facilitating this collaborative approach, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council aims to empower local businesses and stimulate economic growth within the region.
