Uisce Éireann crews are working urgently to restore water supply to Cahir Town following a burst in a main waterline serving the area.
Crews are on-site conducting repairs, which are expected to be completed by 3 pm today, 04 November. However, normal supply will take an estimated three additional hours to fully reach all affected areas, with properties on higher ground or further from the mainline likely to experience delays.
To mitigate the impact, water has been redirected to restore partial supply for some customers. Despite this, many residents in the affected area will experience low pressure or temporary loss of water service until approximately 6 pm.
