Northern Ireland construction company McLaughlin & Harvey placed runner-up for social impact at the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) End of Year Gala.
The event, recently held at the Natural History Museum in London, recognises and celebrates outstanding company-wide performance among contractors and partners who have demonstrated excellence throughout the year.
McLaughlin & Harvey were considered for the social impact award, which gives recognition to the construction company that CCS feel has made a positive impact within society and the communities in which they work.
Despite not claiming top prize in this category, McLaughlin & Harvey is 'very proud' to have received an average CCS score of 44/45 across all of their sites, achieving excellent and outstanding ratings on every project.
McLaughlin & Harvey Head of Responsible Business, Shauna Young, said: "We have been a CCS partner for over 20 years. We are proud of our approach to sustainability and social impact.
"Guided by our purpose of Building Together to Unlock Potential, we strive to maximise the value of our projects for clients and the communities we serve."
She continued: "We are also delighted to be celebrating the remarkable achievements of our Environmental Sustainability Advisors, Aiden Stevenson, Elysia Forbes and Andrew Logan, who have been recognised among the Top 30 Under 30 in the construction industry.
"This impressive accolade highlights their exceptional contributions, innovation, and potential for leadership in shaping a more sustainable future. Congratulations to Aiden, Elysia and Andrew."
