Construction Underway For South Dublin Community Space And Coffee Shop

Construction is currently underway for an exciting new community space and coffee shop at Tymon Park, Templeougue, in south Dublin.

The multi-functional, intergenerational community space boasts a distinctive architectural design and contains a floorspace of approximately 157m2.

Meanwhile, other facilities at the location, in Tymon Park facing onto the Wellington Lane car park, include a cafe and associated kitchen, WCs, storage and services, along with a terrace for outdoor seating overlooking the park.

Construction of this new development is set to be completed in early 2025 and South Dublin County Council are welcoming expressions of interest through a public procurement process for an operator for the new intergenerational centre.

The selected operator will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the community space and café.

Registration must be made through the OGP’s E-tender system.
