Repairs Made To Burst Water Main In Cork

Works to repair a major burst water main in Cork have successfully been carried out by crews from Uisce Éireann.

The recent burst occurred on the raw water main supplying the Mallow Water Treatment Plant, causing disruption to customers across the county.

Customers on the Cork side of the Old Mallow Bridge may have also experienced supply disruption or low water pressure whilst the network recharged.

Operations Manager with Uisce Éireann, Niall O'Riordan, thanked customers for their patience as teams corrected the issue and supply returned.
