Crews from Uisce Éireann have successfully restored water supply to customers in East Inishowen after power outages caused significant disruptions at the weekend.
The loss of electricity impacted Pollan Dam Illies and East Inishowen (Redcastle) water treatment plants overnight on Saturday, meaning Uisce Éireann crews worked throughout Sunday to rectify the issues.
As a result, water supply was restored to customers in Muff, Quigley's Point, Moville, Greencastle, Gleneely, the area between Quigley's Point and Carndonagh, and the surrounding areas.
Uisce Éireann's Paul Kilcoyne said: "We would like to thank residents and businesses for their patience and understanding while crews worked to restore supply."
