Construction Works Set To Commence Near Cavan School

A three-week road closure is set to commence in County Cavan to facilitate construction and accommodation works near a Drumelis-based school entrance.

Loreto Road (L1513), from the entrance to Farnham National School to a point located on the L1513 located approximately 300 metres west of the school entrance, will close from 8am on Monday, January 27 to 8pm on Friday, February 14.

Diversion routes will be set up on the L1512, the R198, the L15133 and the L1514 roads to accommodate the L1513 road closure.

Access to Farnham National School will still be provided via the L1514 (Golf Links Road) for this three-week period.

Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as far as possible but there will be no through road at the townland of Drumelis.
