A wellbeing event was recently held for the apprentices from Northern Ireland-based Farrans Construction, who are currently working on the delivery of the transformational public transport hub at Bristol Airport.
The apprentices attended a workshop raising their awareness of mental health issues and how to support others. They also spent time in a Q&A session with Dave Lees, Bristol Airport Chief Executive, sharing with him details of the work they have been involved in and how rewarding they are finding the apprentice experience on the project.
To date, Farrans has supported nine apprentices through the project with each one being provided with invaluable skills in various disciplines across the industry such as civil, mechanical & electrical engineering; dealing with complex designs; environmental and commercial planning.
