Monami Construction Shortlisted For 2025 ICE Award

County Galway-based Monami Construction has been named as a finalist at this year's Irish Construction Excellence (ICE) Awards.

Monami is vying for top honours in the Fitout or Refurbishment Over €5M category for its Cross Campus Fit Out project which was completed in TUS Coonagh, County Limerick.

From conception right through to completion, this outstanding building was envisioned to be a high-quality campus to help develop and aid the future of engineering professionals.

A statement from Monami explained: "The remarkable entrance with its makerspace features, the modern user-friendly offices and lecture theatres, and ultra-functional precision engineering & electrical engineering workshops and laboratories, an integrated HGV & LGV garage facility, lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, IT labs, catering facilities, student services centre, smarter travel facilities and general accommodation facilities and amenities are all evidence of an exceptional quality college campus.

"Every element within the project has been carefully considered, driven by a demanding Client with an exceptional eye for detail. The meticulous work and effort by the Monami project team and our sub-contractors is clearly evident in the finished product."

The ICE Awards will take place on May 1 at the Convention Centre Dublin. Founded in 1993 the awards are the original and premier recognition of performance excellence for construction in Ireland.
