NI Water has been carrying out repair works in Belfast over the weekend after an exterior gas contractor damaged a watermain on the Ormeau Road.
A section of the distribution system in the area has been isolated and rezoned to enable the repair to be undertaken. This has resulted in some of the company's customers experiencing an interruption to supply and other customers affected by discoloured water.
Discussing the works, a statement from NI Water said: "Repair work is ongoing and every effort is being made to have the work completed as soon as possible and water supplies restored to normal operation."
