To facilitate these works, customers of the utility company in Clashanisky, Lisbalting, Minorstown, Mauganstown, Butlerstown, Kylanoreashy, Ballynamona, Ballycurkeen, Figlash, Macreary, Ballyneill, Ballypatrick and the surrounding areas may experience reduced water pressure.
In some instances, particularly in higher elevations, intermittent water outages may also occur. Supply interruption will occur today from 8am to 7pm.
Discussing the works, Operations Manager for Tipperary, Colin Cunningham, said: "Every effort will be made to reduce the impact of these works on homes and businesses in the area. Following the works, normal supply may take three to four hours to fully restore to all areas as the water refills the network, especially for those on higher ground or at the end of the network.
