Construction on the first phase of 24 highly energy efficient social houses in County Donegal has now been completed.

Elected members of the Lifford-Stranorlar Municipal District visited the social housing estate at Corran an Lín, Convoy, this week, as works continue on site for the delivery of the second phase of the project. These units will be completed by the end of 2025.

The Council signed the contract with Meadowfield Development Limited in February 2024 for the acquisition of the houses, with 11 properties forming Phase 1 (9 two-bed and 2 three-bed) and the remaining 13 properties forming Phase 2 (7 two-bed, 4 three-bed and 2 four-bed).
