Uisce Éireann workers will carry out essential works along the Letteragh Road to the west of Galway City on Monday, 31 March.
The planned connection works will commence at 10am and are expected to be completed by 4pm the same day.
To facilitate the works, approximately 200 Uisce Éireann customers in the area may experience outages or disruptions to their water supply. Affected areas include parts of the Letteragh Road, Cúirt Chéirín, The Bailey, The Heath, Breacán, and sections of Circular Road extending to Bushypark NS. However, Bushypark NS itself will not be impacted.
Temporary traffic management measures will be in place during the works to ensure safety and efficiency.
Uisce Éireann's Leo O'Shea said: "These planned works are necessary to connect new homes to the public water supply. We wish to thank affected customers for their understanding and patience while the works are ongoing."
Typically, it takes two to three hours after repairs for normal supply to be restored to all customers. However, those on higher ground or at the end of the network may experience a longer wait before full service returns.
