Road Closures Scheduled To Accompany Drogheda Resurfacing Works

Upcoming road closures have been announced in Drogheda, County Louth to facilitate resurfacing works.

Between 9.30am and 3pm on Wednesday, May 14, Patrick Street (L-1000-63), from its junction with Bolton Street (L-10005) to its junction with Hardman's Gardens (L-1665-87), will be closed to vehicular traffic for resurfacing on Patrick Street. Local access and emergency access will be maintained.

Eastbound traffic approaching Patrick Street will be diverted north along George Street/North Road (R-132-1), Windmill Road (L-1004-55), east along Bothar Brugha (L-16651), north along Hardman's Gardens (L-1665-87) to its junction with Scarlet Street (L-1664-81).

Westbound traffic approaching Patrick Street (L-1000-63) will be diverted north along Hardman's Gardens (L-1665-87), west along Bothar Brugha (L-16651), south along Windmill Road (L-1004-55) and south along North Road/George Street (R-132-1).

Furthermore, between 9.30am and 3pm on Thursday, May 15, Hardman's Gardens (L-1665-87), northbound only from its junction with Patrick Street (L-1000-63) to its junction with Lourdes Square (L-16653-72), a length of 75m, will be closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate road resurfacing works on Hardman Gardens (L-1665-87) northbound only. Local access and emergency access will be maintained.

Northbound traffic approaching Hardman's Gardens (L-1665-87) will be diverted west along Patrick Street (L-1000-63), north along George Street/North Road (R-132-1), Windmill Road (L-1004-55) and east along Bothar Brugha (L-16651).
