Repairs Made To Galway City Burst Water Main

Crews from Uisce Éireann have successfully completed repair works in Galway City following a burst to a water main on Saturday, April 26.

As a result of the efforts, normal water supply has returned to customers in The Meadows, The Paddocks, Racecourse Lawn, Racecourse Gardens, Lios Caisil, Tír na Gcapall, Cúirt na Rásaí, Briarhill Business Park, Monivea Road, and surrounding areas who experienced disruption.

Uisce Éireann's Tony Kelly thanked customers for their patience as the network recharged, stating: "We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we appreciate customers' support as we worked to return a normal supply to our customers in Galway City."
