60 Newly Built Homes Available In Clonburris

South Dublin County Council recently welcomed Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne, to mark the launch of 60 newly built one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes at Canal Bank, Clonburris.

The 60 units, which will be sold under the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme, form part of a broader residential development that is now nearing completion, and include a mix of eight one-bedroom, twenty two-bedroom, twenty-two three-bedroom, and ten four-bedroom homes.

The Canal Bank project consists of 116 new social and affordable homes and represents the first phase of a larger construction initiative that will deliver over 2,400 new homes directly built by the council in Clonburris.

Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne said: "I would like to compliment South Dublin County Council for this landmark development supported by my Department, this development represents the council's first direct build project in several years.

"The delivery of these A-rated homes will make purchasing property a reality for many people who would otherwise find it difficult to become homeowners, and I want to see more of it happening."

Pricing for the affordable purchase homes, supported by Affordable Housing Funding through equity contributions, begins at €199,500 for a one-bedroom apartment. Two-bedroom apartments are priced at €270,000, while two-bedroom houses are available from €310,000. Three-bedroom duplex homes will start at €335,000, three-bedroom houses at €345,000, and four-bedroom houses at €355,000.

Sales of new homes at Canal Bank under the Affordable Purchase Scheme are being handled by DNG New Homes.
