Construction work has officially begun on a new £18 million residential development by County Antrim home builder Hagan Homes on Jubilee Road in Ballyclare.
'Springwater' will include 77 energy-efficient homes, comprising a mix of three and four-bedroom townhouses, semi-detached and detached properties, set within a welcoming, community-focused neighbourhood.
The first phase comprising 24 units is scheduled for completion by September 2025, with a fully furnished show home set to open at the same time, offering potential buyers a first-hand look at the quality and style of homes on offer.
The homes will feature high-spec materials, including solar panels, enhanced insulation, smart heating systems and premium triple-glazed windows.
These EPCA rated homes aim to cut energy bills and carbon footprint, potentially saving up to £500/year.
The development will form a welcoming, neighbourhood-style setting with family-friendly layouts and green spaces that encourage outdoor activity and community connection.
Targeted towards first-time buyers and young families, homes at Springwater are priced between £200,000–£300,000. Key features include: Ultrafast broadband (up to 1000 Mbps), USB sockets in every bedroom, ethernet ports and Sky+/BT pre-wiring, customisable kitchens with integrated appliances and contemporary bathrooms with soft-close fittings.
Homes are marketed by Country Estates (Main Street, Ballyclare) and Colin Graham Residential, Newtownabbey.
