Dublin City Council's flagship Quayside Project on North Wall Quay in Dublin 1 has successfully been completed.
The project included the delivery of a new Docklands Office and a state-of-the-art City Council Water Sports Centre, which both, over the coming weeks, will undergo final commissioning and fit-out works, with full operations expected to commence shortly thereafter.
The Quayside Project also included a range of enhancements designed to revitalise the River Liffey and its surroundings:
• Extended Pontoons: Improved access and usability along the riverfront.
• Architectural Glulam Structures: Two engineered timber frame structures—supporting the Jeanie Johnston visitor attraction and the new Water Sports Centre.
• Enhanced Public Realm: A significantly upgraded riverside environment, including an extended boardwalk.
A formal launch event has been scheduled for September 2025, once all facilities are fully operational.
