Braidwater Group Celebrates Five Decades Of Business

County L'Derry-based home builder, Braidwater Group, recently marked being in business for over 50 years with a special celebratory event.

Hosted at the Ebrington Hotel in L'Derry, the event brought together more than 230 guests, including employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and professional partners.

They were joined by founder Patrick McGinnis, Breda McGinnis, Managing Director Joe McGinnis and his wife Eva, family members, and former colleagues for an evening of reflection and recognition of the company which has grown to become one of Northern Ireland's leading home builders, delivering both private and social housing developments across the region, from Belfast to the North West.

Speaking at the event, Managing Director Joe McGinnis said: "It's difficult to express just how thankful Patrick and I are for everyone who has played a part in our journey – from the early days when my father founded the company to where we are today.

"It's the people who have built, led, and delivered on our vision – employees, contractors, suppliers, and associates – and we are deeply grateful to all. Without these dedicated teams we wouldn’t be where we are today!"

Today, the Braidwater Group hands over approximately 250 completed homes annually and is currently constructing two of Northern Ireland’s largest housing developments – Black Ridge (Glenmona) in West Belfast and The Cashel (H2) in L'Derry.
