Three of County Antrim-headquartered Farrans' projects are vying for top honours at this year's British Construction and Infrastructure Awards (BCIA).
Featuring among the best in Ireland and the UK, the projects which have made the shortlist in their respective categories include:
• Farrans Sacyr JV, main contractors on Belfast Grand Central Station for Translink, have been shortlisted in three categories – Health, Safety and Wellbeing Impact Award, Social Value and Community Impact Award and Construction Excellence Award. Translink has also been shortlisted in the Digital Impact award for Digital Innovation at Belfast Grand Central Station.
• Gull Wing Bridge, delivered by Farrans for Suffolk County Council, has been shortlisted in the Best Transport Project category.
• Govan to Partick Bridge, delivered by Farrans for Glasgow City Council, has been shortlisted in the Project Team Excellence category.
The Dunmurry company wished its teams good luck ahead of the event ceremony in London in October.
