Construction Continues On New Kildare Playground

A new purpose-built playground is currently under construction at the Bawnogues, Kilcock, in County Kildare.

The playground, which forms part of a wider project including a sensory and taste garden, is designed to offer a high-quality and accessible play environment for children of all ages and abilities. The project includes the installation of new, sustainable and inclusive play features as well as the reuse of existing equipment.

The temporary playground currently in operation at the Bawnogues will close on Monday, July 14, to facilitate the safe removal and relocation of equipment to the new playground.

The new playground is scheduled to open in early September 2025, subject to weather and construction progress.
