Louth Road Closures Announced For Resurfacing Works

Forthcoming temporary road closures are set to occur in Dundalk, County Louth, to facilitate final resurfacing works.

Roads which are due to close include Bridge Street / Castletown River Bridge to the junction of Linenhall Street (R132) and Wolfe Tone Terrace, as well as Fairgreen Road (R177) (full road closure).

These closures will take place nightly, between 7.30pm to 8am, from Wednesday, August 6, to Friday, August 8, and Monday, August 11, to Friday, August 15.

Northbound traffic will be diverted by: Castletown Road; Legion Avenue; Jocelyn Street; N52 to the R132 roundabout; R132.

Southbound traffic will be diverted via: Racecourse Road; N52; Jocelyn Street; Legion Avenue; Castletown Road.

Local access and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
