The first Learning Environments Northern Ireland conference is set to be hosted by the Department of Education on November 5 at Titanic, Belfast.

The one-day event will bring together members of the construction sector, including contractors, architects, consultants and clients, to address current challenges in the planning, design and delivery of educational facilities across Northern Ireland.

The event will include discussion panels, sessions and talks involving key members of the construction industry, architects, representatives from the Department of Education, its ALBs and schools, all focussing on key DE policies and modern methods of construction.

The conference will showcase the Department and the work that takes place across the Northern Ireland schools' estate.

The conference is being organised in association with event partners Step Connect2.
