Shareridge Ltd is continuing to upgrade the water network in Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary, on behalf of Uisce Éireann.

The works, which are being carried out under Uisce Éireann's National Leakage Reduction Programme, involve the replacement of 1.7km of ageing water mains, which have been prone to bursts and high levels of leakage, with new modern pipes.

Thus far, 520 metres of water mains have been replaced. Uisce Éireann has completed all connections on Castle Lane and Callanan Lane, and are currently carrying out works on New Street, where night works will take place until Friday, July 25.

Once the project is fully completed, the improvements will significantly reduce water loss, improve pressure, and enhance the overall resilience of the water network, serving homes and businesses in the area.
