Welcoming the new affordable homes, Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Mary Linehan Foley said: "Cork County Council is delighted to announce the launch of this affordable housing scheme in Youghal. The development in Silverwood is in a great location, within walking distance of Youghal town centre and around 40 minutes’ drive to Cork City. The provision of these houses shows the council's continuing progress under the government's 'Housing for All' national housing plan."
