GMC Utilities Group will commence the construction of new wastewater infrastructure on behalf of Uisce Éireann next week in Clonmagadden, County Meath.
The works involve the installation of 300 metres of gravity sewer main to support social and economic development in the wider Navan area. This project is being carried out as part of Uisce Éireann's Growth and Development Programme.
Uisce Éireann's Padraic Fitzgerald welcomed the commencement of these works. "This project will facilitate social and economic growth, including planned residential development. It will increase the capacity of the existing wastewater network to deliver reliable, sustainable high-quality wastewater services for the community," he said.
Works will take place at Clonmagadden Park and on Clonmagadden Road, between Clonmagadden Park and Nangle Court. To safely and efficiently deliver this project, traffic management in the form of traffic marshals and temporary traffic lights will be in place. The works are expected to be completed in Autumn 2025.
