Developer Road Realignment Scheme To Begin In Dundonald

A new developer road realignment scheme is set to commence on Comber Road, Dundonald at Millmount, beginning on Monday, 25 August.

The work is being carried out as a result of planning conditions for a major housing and industrial site at the location.

The scheme will be managed with a lane closure for the entire duration, with temporary traffic signals controlling the flow of traffic.

A full road closure will be required towards the end of the works to allow for carriageway surfacing. To minimise inconvenience, this will be programmed over a weekend.

The project has been scheduled for completion by the end of October, subject to favourable weather conditions.

The Department will keep the public informed of any further closures or changes to the programme.
