Fifty-one graduates have joined construction solution company Mercury's 2025–27 Graduate Programme, beginning their careers on September 1 with an induction week at the Irish Management Institute in Dublin.
The cohort includes 14 women and 37 men from nine nationalities, including Brazilian, English, Greek, Hungarian, Indian, Irish, Italian, Spanish, and Zimbabwean, with SETU Waterford contributing ten graduates.
Graduates will take on roles across mechanical, electrical, and CSA engineering, as well as BIM, planning, quality, sustainability, and business functions. Forty will join Mercury's Data Centres business unit, eight will enter Group Services, and three will join Advanced Technology and Engineering. Their roles span Ireland, England, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Finland.
Talent Development Specialist Becky Caulfield emphasised that people are Mercury's greatest asset, with the Graduate Programme providing a platform to support their growth and long-term success: "At Mercury, we back our people to realise their vision of themselves. Our Graduate Programme is designed to give talented individuals the opportunities, mentorship, and experience they need to grow into the leaders of tomorrow. This year's intake reflects the diversity, ambition, and potential that drives our business forward, and we are proud to support them as they begin their journey with us."
Since 2009, Mercury's Graduate Programme has trained 426 graduates, many of whom have progressed to senior positions within the company. The programme continues to provide the foundation for developing the next generation of construction and engineering professionals.
The 2025–27 cohort joins Mercury at a time of strong growth across its core sectors.
