Acting on behalf of NI Water, AG Wilson Civil Engineering is set to begin the final phase of essential storm overflow works on the Old Shore Road in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, during the week beginning September 15.
As a result, road users travelling between Carrickfergus and Belfast will be impacted for an expected duration of one week. To facilitate these works safely and efficiently, a lane closure in both directions will be in place daily (Monday – Friday) from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Traffic management and signage to inform the public will be in place at all times.
Discussing the works, a statement from NI Water said: "NI Water and our project team, including AG Wilson Civil Engineering have liaised with all key stakeholders in the scheduling of this work and would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation while we undertake this essential work to improve the sewer network in the area. The team will make every effort to complete the work as quickly as possible."
