An essential sewer connection to facilitate a new housing development on the Ormeau Road in Belfast will take place over two weekends, potentially, NI Water has announced.
The works will commence on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September, and continue, if required, on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October.
A one-way road closure will be in place country bound from the junction of Rosetta Park to Knockbreda Road. Lane two city bound from St Johns Avenue to Rosetta Avenue will also be closed. Traffic management and detailed diversion signage will be in place at all times.
Discussing the works, a statement from NI Water said: "NI Water has liaised with all relevant stakeholders including Translink regarding transport services and would like to thank the public in advance for their patience and cooperation while this work takes place and assure them that we will do everything we can to complete the work as quickly as possible."
