BAM To Begin Dock Road Nighttime Resurfacing Works

BAM, working on behalf of Waterford City and County Council, will carry out resurfacing works on Dock Road, Ferrybank, over two phases this October.

The works are scheduled from Monday, October 6, to Friday, October 10, and again from Monday, October 13, to Wednesday, October 15. Work will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am.

A stop-go traffic management system will operate along Dock Road during these hours. Rockshire Road will also be closed at its junction with Dock Road, with a signed diversion in place via Newrath Road. Emergency and local access will be maintained at all times.

Nighttime working has been chosen to reduce traffic disruption while ensuring the safety of road users and construction teams.

Waterford City and County Council and BAM thank the public for their patience and cooperation during these essential works.
