The Braidwater Group, a leading housebuilder in Northern Ireland, is rolling out KORE Low Carbon EPS Insulation across multiple residential projects, strengthening its commitment to sustainable construction.
Following the success of its 127-unit Cloughan View development in Ballyclare, the Group is now incorporating the innovative insulation material across a wider range of sites.
KORE's Low Carbon EPS provides the same strength, thermal performance, and moisture resistance as traditional EPS insulation but with a significantly reduced carbon footprint. Manufactured using Neopor® BMB from BASF, the material replaces fossil feedstocks with renewable resources at the start of the value chain and is independently verified through REDcert² certification.
Rory Devlin, Buyer at the Braidwater Group, said: "KORE's Low Carbon EPS floor insulation provides an ideal solution – it offers outstanding performance while significantly lowering the carbon footprint of our developments. By choosing more environmentally friendly materials, we’re supporting our long-term goal of building greener homes."
The Group's developments combine advanced insulation systems, high-specification materials, and contemporary designs to deliver energy-efficient, comfortable, and affordable homes for families across Northern Ireland. KORE’s Low Carbon EPS now forms a central part of Braidwater's ongoing strategy to reduce embodied carbon in its construction materials.
