CITB NI will host a hands-on session exploring how generative AI—particularly tools such as ChatGPT—can help construction businesses raise productivity, improve communication and streamline everyday workflows.

The event takes place on Thursday 15 January 2026 at 9.15 am at CITB NI, Nutts Corner Training Centre, 17 Dundrod Road, Crumlin, BT29 4SR.

Participants will cover the value of AI and large language models (LLMs), how these tools work, and where they can add value in construction and beyond. Topics include using AI for routine admin, team support and onboarding; effective prompting and creating an AI playbook; brainstorming and refining outputs; and applying AI to tenders, case studies, marketing, business planning, decision-making and client communications. The session also looks at drafting an AI policy, key marketing considerations for AI-generated content, a live ChatGPT demonstration, and a Q&A.
