Customers in Lusmagh now have a more dependable water service following the completion of essential network improvements by Uisce Éireann.
As part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, the utility has renewed 780 metres of old water mains between the crossroads at Caplevane and Lusmagh National School in Offaly. The project is designed to strengthen supply and significantly reduce the loss of treated water into the ground.
"We are delighted to have delivered these works for our customers in Lusmagh and the surrounding communities. We would like to thank the community for their cooperation and patience while these works were carried out." said Dave Murphy, Uisce Éireann's Portfolio Manager.
The works were delivered by Shareridge on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
