Belfast property and construction consultancy Johnston Houston has officially rebranded as Drees & Sommer UK.

The move marks the final phase of integration following the firm's acquisition by the international construction consultancy group in September 2024.

The rebranding sees the firm's team of 26 professionals—including building surveyors, cost consultants, and project managers—fully adopt the global identity. Despite the change in name, the firm remains committed to its local operations in Northern Ireland, continuing to provide technical due diligence, quantity surveying, and project management services.

The consultancy has reported a strong performance over the past year, particularly within its Building Surveying division. High-profile recent instructions include providing technical due diligence for the sale of the Ernside Shopping Centre in Belfast. Additionally, the team has successfully delivered Phases 1 and 2 of The Residences at Kings Hall, a 40-apartment retirement living development, where they acted as project managers and quantity surveyors.
