A significant construction milestone has been reached in Coolock as the An TSrúill development at Cromcastle Road officially celebrates its "topping out".
The ceremony marks the structural completion of the project, which is being delivered by Bennett Construction on behalf of the Land Development Agency (LDA) and Dublin City Council.
The An TSrúill scheme is a major residential undertaking designed to address the demand for high-quality housing in the area. Once completed, the development will yield 146 new homes, comprising a mix of cost rental and social housing units.
Beyond residential provision, the project has been designed to integrate into the existing neighbourhood through several community-focused features. These include:
• Dedicated spaces for arts, culture, and community activities.
• Professionally landscaped amenity areas for residents.
• Enhanced connectivity and infrastructure improvements for the wider local area.
The achievement of this milestone reflects the ongoing partnership between the developers and the local authority. Bennett Construction expressed their gratitude to the personnel involved in reaching this stage of the build.
A spokesperson for the company stated: "We're proud to mark the topping out of our An TSrúill Development, Cromcastle Rd, Coolock, a key milestone for this important residential project. Delivered by Bennett Construction for our client The Land Development Agency and Dublin City Council, this development will provide 146 new residential homes, including cost rental and social housing alongside vibrant community, arts and culture space, landscaped amenity areas and improved connectivity for the local neighbourhood.
