EirGrid, the operator and developer of Ireland's electricity grid, and the ESB–Ørsted joint venture behind the Tonn Nua project welcomed Darragh O’Brien, Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment, to their inaugural meeting.
The event marked the beginning of formal collaboration between the project partners.
Discussions centred on early-stage coordination across key areas of the project, highlighting a collective commitment to support Ireland’s offshore renewable energy ambitions.
